Ms. McMurdie

After graduating from Arizona State College of Law in 1992, Cristi worked with insurance defense attorneys Martin Hart & Fullerton in Mesa, Arizona and shortly thereafter began to build a family practice.  Because of her prior lief in customer service and corporate America, Ms. McMurdie was adept at negotiating with people and soon learned that mediation is very effective and can save clients lots of hard-earned money.  A1 Mediation Services is available as a first recourse and as a last resort for many people in conflict.

In 1996 Ms. McMurdie certified to provide mediation in family law.  Hundreds of mediated settlements have run through A1 Mediation Services and McMurdie Law Office, PC.  It is the firm's commitment that if there is a way to settle the case, then it is attempted with full intention to provide the client their desired outcome of full resolution.

In 2005, A1 was born from McMurdie Law Office as a subsidiary to enable the client to see that two services are available.  

Ms. McMurdie’s professional affiliations are: Family Law Section of the Arizona Bar, Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators (MCAFM), Arizona Association of Conflict Resolution (AACR), National Association of Conflict Resolution, Better Business Bureau (BBB), Arizona International Coach Federation (ICF). McMurdie Law Office has actively participated in the Tempe Chamber of Commerce for ten years and the Chandler Chamber of Commerce for 7 years.  McMurdie Law also contributes as donors to Fresh Start Women's Foundation and Sojourner Center and as table hosts for the annual fundraisers.

Mediator McMurdie’s professional development expands beyond the legal arena to certifications in professional coaching accreditations, through the International Coach Federation (ICF)and speaking. Further, Ms. McMurdie is the President of Kuleana Consulting & Coaching, the umbrella company for coaching, consulting, and speaking services which greatly enhances profession.mediation.

Mediator McMurdie is a devoted toastmaster to her home club, Dobson Ranch Toastmasters, holding the Advanced Communicator Bronze, Competent Communicator and Competent Leader designations. Ms. McMurdie was nominated for the Athena Award of the 2009 and 2010 and in 2011 was nominated as the Business Woman of the Year in the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. She wrote a book, yet to be published and now claims it must be rewritten with all she now knows since its creation.
