Ms. McMurdie is the President and Partner of A1Mediation Services, a Tempe based law office which serves clients in estate planning and family law. She is also the President and partner of McMurdie Law Office.
Ms. McMurdie began this practice after seeing how devastating the legal system can be for divorcing families. Mediation is less adversarial and teach new ways a family communicates so that they can manage their own conflicts in the future.
If a client believes their conflict might be successful in mediation, then set up an appointment for you alone or both you and the other party. If you have a consultation by yourself, A1 is very careful about conflict of interest and ensures that both parties can participate in the process by seeing the other party of having the other party agree to mediation once knowing that their spouse or other party has already consulted about mediation with A1.
Depending upon the complexity of the dispute you have, there are usually 2-5 sessions needed to reach agreements on all issues surrounding your dipsute.
